Hi, I’m Lacey.
My photography journey actually began back in high school when I started taking photos for the yearbook staff. We developed as many photos in the dark room as we took on a digital camera. Several years and some college photography classes later, taking photos was always a hobby of mine.
Then I became a mom to a special needs son. While I wanted photos of our family, I knew I needed a photographer who understood our world of special needs.
Someone who knows that my kid may not always sit still for the camera. A photographer who can capture beautiful moments even if eye contact with the camera doesn’t happen. Someone who knows that scheduling a location is just as much about accessibility and safety as it is about the scenery.
I was fortunate enough to have a family friend who’s a wonderful photographer and has known my son since birth so she works really well with him. But for many families, that’s not always the case.
I realized in my search that there were families of all abilities looking for a photographer to capture meaningful memories in a budget-friendly manner.
So I began Wonderfully Made Photography with a desire to serve not only the special needs community but people of all abilities because we are all fearfully and wonderfully made.
I would be honored to capture memories for your family as well. My sessions typically occur in the Huntsville and Chattanooga/northwest Georgia areas. A full list of my services can be found here, but If you need something more customized/specific to your needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I look forward to working with you.
